BYU Industrial Design program recognized as a leader in ID education

BYU Industrial Design program recognized as one of seven schools worldwide that "the global design community ought to learn from" according to an article, “Designing the Ideal Industrial Design Program” by Paul Backett featured in the Core77 online magazine.  Paul shared his list of schools and reasons why BYU merits this impressive honor. 

Paul Backett is the director of industrial design at Ziba in Portland, Oregon.  Ziba is one of the most recognized product design and development firms in the world. 

Core77 online magazine is dedicated to the practice of industrial design. It serves as a practical resource for industrial designers as well as a venue for essays and reports on the topic of design in general.  Core77 is one of the oldest online magazines in existence today.
